Martha Leola Baumgardner, 82, Bendersville, died Tuesday at the Gettysburg Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Bendersville.
She was born in Toms Brook, Va., and has resided in Adams County for 61 years.
She was a daughter of the late Zedekiah and Mary C. Fravel Dean.
She had been an employee of the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot for 30 years before retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Reformed Church of Harrisville, Va
.
She is survived by her husband, Harry T. Baumgardner, to whom she was married for 61 years; one sister, Grace Einheuser, Pontiac, Mich.; a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Dugan Funeral Home in Bendersville with the Rev. Daniel V. Biles III officiating.
