Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The Rev. Gore a native of Brunswick County, N. c. had retired as a Church of God Minister, having served as pastor of churches in Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, and for 23 years he was a member of New Hope Church of God, where he taught the men's Bible class. He had worked for R. L. Directory Co. and had been a poll manager for Richmond County Board of Elections.
Survivors include two sons; W. Kirkland Gore, Gainsville and B. Kenneth Gore, Augusta; a daughter Lenora Cheeks, Augusta; a brother Edgar Gore, Whitesville, N. C.; two sisters, Linnie Piner, Wilmington, N. C. and Berta Blanton, Supply, N. C. and nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
