Loretta G. Cunningham, 90, of Harrisville, WV, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, in Camden-Clark Memorial hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
She was born Nov. 19, 1919, in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Artic Bush Sager. She was a homemaker, provided maid services, and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
Surviving are four sons, Waitman (Florence) Sager of Cleveland, OH, Marvin Cunningham and Quentin (Patty) Cunningham, both of Harrisville, and Ronald (Charlotte) Cunningham of Streetsboro, OH; four daughters, Gwendoline (Gail) Jones of Cairo, WV, Carol (Roger) Gribble and Ruth (Mike) Howell, all of Harrisville, and Helen (Roger) Ford of Grantsville, WV; a son-in-law, Raymond Clevenger; a sister, Juanita Snodgrass of East Liverpool, OH; 24 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Leonard Cunningham; a daughter, Opal Clevenger; brothers, Harley, Hunter and Harold Sager; sisters, Kathleen Tingler and Marie Sager; a great-grandchild and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, Feb. 15th, at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, with the Rev. Charlene Spaur and Pastor Frank Plybon officiating. Burial followed in Harrisville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
