Eleanor (Paston) Manners, Countess of Rutland, served as a lady-in-waiting to four wives of King Henry VIII of England: Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves and Catherine Howard. She was the daughter of Sir William Paston and his wife, Bridget, the daughter of Sir Henry Heydon. Eleanor Paston married Thomas Manners, 12th Baron de Ros, by 1523, and became Countess of Rutland when he was elevated to the earldom in 1525.
