CHINA GROVE — The funeral will be Thursday for Edna Reynolds Tutherow, 93, 260 Cherry St., who died Monday (April 23, 2001) at Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury. Born Feb. 24, 1908, in Lincolnton, Mrs. Tutherow, a daughter of the late John Sydney and Sybilar Clark Reynolds, was educated in the Lincoln County schools. She retired from China Grove Cotton Mill and was a member of Landis Baptist Church and the Lois Baltes Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by husband, Lloyd R. Tutherow; son, Paul E. Tutherow; and daughter Delores T. Faggart. Survivors include son Clifford Tutherow, Kannapolis; daughters Ruth Hames and Polly Tutherow, both of the home, and Margaret "Snook" Basinger, China Grove; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Landis Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Richard Horn, the Rev. Ricky Brown and the Rev. Eddie Graham. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Burial, West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation: 7-8:30 tonight, Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove.
