Funeral services will be 11AM Monday March 1, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids for Helen F. Koepp, 87 of Rice who died Saturday at the Talahi Care Center in St. Cloud. The Rev. Paul Cloeter and Rev. Harvey Ehlers will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8PM Sunday (Today) at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and 1 hour prior to services Tuesday at the church in Sauk Rapids. Trinity Lutheran Church prayers will be at 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.
Helen was born June 7, 1922 in Rames Township, SD to Albert & Tabea (Fettinger) Eisenbraun. She married Norman D. Koepp on November 3, 1941 in Winner, SD. The couple moved to the Rice area in 1956. In 2005 she moved to the Country Manor in Sartell and in 2006 moved to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids. She worked for Central Canvas for 30 years and later worked for G&J Awning for 5 years. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids.
Survivors include her sons, Norman Jr. (Beverly) of Rice; Larry (Peggy) of Rice; sister, Darline Miller of Kennebec, SD, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Evelyn Burton, son, Charles, sister, Lydia Strom, and brother Robert Eisenbraun and daughter in law Debra Koepp.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Rosewood Memory Care Unit at Talahi Care Center for the excellent care given to Helen during her stay.
