George A. Woodford died at the Luther Hospital in Eau Claire at 5:15 p.m. Monday, after a long illness with a heart affliction. He was 45 years of age. His home has been in Eau Claire, at 1204 Main St., for the past few years.
He is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. Carrie Woodford of this village; four sisters: Mrs. Jacob Lightfoot, Altoona, Mrs. Emil Schara, Wis. Rapids, Mrs. Melvin Walter, Humbird; Mrs. Melvin Walker, Humbird; Mrs. Orville Creviston, Eau Claire; and three brothers: Raymond and Roy of Green Bay, and Chester of Humbird.
The funeral services are to be held at the Methodist Church in this village this Thursday afternoon, and interment will be in Mentor Cemetery.
