He was born in Wilmot township 91 years ago, a son of the late Abraham and Lydia (Shantz) Honderich. He was a member of the North Easthope Reformed Mennonite Church.
Beloved husband of the former Ella May Howard, who predeceased him in 1974. Loving father of Gary of Kitchener and Patricia Shantz, who predeceased him in 1979. Ever remembered by a son-in-law, Ken Shantz and his wife Hazel of New Hamburg; his grandchildren, Dale and his wife Sandra, Lyle and his wife Denise, Tim and his wife Heather, Glenn and his wife Nancy, Lee and Grant. Dear brother of Cameron and his wife Dorothy of RR 2, New Hamburg, Vera (Mrs. Leo Beaudoin) of Kitchener and Violet (Mra. Allan Stueck) of New Hamburg.
Floyd was predeceased by three brothers, Earl, Delford and twin brother, Lloyd in infancy and one sister, Ada (Mrs. Milton Heinbecker).
Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, today (Thursday) 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Friday, October 22, 1993 transfer will be made to North Easthope Reformed Church for the service at 2 p.m. with Robert Beehler and Ed Bankert officiating. Interment to follow in Wilmot Reformed Mennonite Cemetery, RR 2, Baden.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
