" Pioneer Lady of Larrussell Succombs to Old Age."Mrs. Mary Ann Duncan,83 years of age, died at the home of her son Geo Duncan, near Larrussell,Weds night. Death resulted from old age. Mrs. Duncan born in Tenn in 1827 but had resided in Mo, for many years. She left numerous relatives. Funeral services held at the Duncan residence today at 10:00clock, buried at Taylor Cemetery near Bowers Mill.

Mary Ann was Buried at Taylor Cem because Wipperwill Creek flooded every spring and the cemetery there would flood , that is where her husband was buried but she said she did not want her casket to wash down the stream,so she was buried at Taylor Cem.
