Funeral services for Peter H. Lawson, 79, of the Hindsville community, who died October 9 at Little Rock while visiting there, were held at Bohannan Friday afternoon, October 12 conducted by Joe Banks, Church of Christ minister from Fayetteville.

Mr. Lawson was born in Casey county, Kentucky, February 16, 1877 but came to Arkansas at the age of ten and lived near Wesley most of his life. He was married to Lue Hull April 14, 1917. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, Earlis Lawson of Little Rock, Arlie Lawson of Wichita, Kans., and Darie Lawson of Ontario, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Bolinger of Wesley and Mrs. Buren Andrews of Hindsville; one brother, Wesley Lawson, Route 6, Huntsville, and eight grandchildren.

Brashears Funeral Home had charge of funeral arrangements and burial was in the Bohannan cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Clyde Hull, Lee Hull, Clarence Worley, O. E. Logue, Noble McChristian and Remmel Lawson.
