OLD RESIDENT OF 6ALESBURG DIES Mrs. D. I. Russell, aged 68 years, of Galesburg, died this morning at 3 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. W. Oakley, 710 West Lovell street this city. Mrs. Russell had been sick about two weeks but hopes of her recovery were entertained until last night, when she was taken much worse. Heart failure was the immediate cause of death. Mrs. Russell was born March 23, 1845, In Kent, Ohio. At the age of 17 years she moved to Michigan and was married December 12, 1865, to D. I. Russell, who now survives her. Mr. and Mrs. Russell lived on their farm six miles east of Kalamazoo for about 30 years, and, then moved to the present home in Galesburg. She leaves besides her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Kate Oakley, of Kalamazoo, and one son, Dr. W. A. Russell, of Huntley, Montana. Dr. Russell is expected to arrive Tuesday. The funeral services will be held from the home in Galesburg Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
