Lonnie Jerry Bean, 43, of Route 1, Box 49-BB, Huntsville, died Jan. 19, 1989, at his home. He was born Sept. 26, 1945, at Winchester, Tenn., the son of Jesse and Mary Lena Moorehead Bean. He was an electrician, a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army and attended the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Carol (Bean) Bean of the home; one son, Kenneth Bean, with the U.S. Army in Korea; two daughters, Miss Melissa Bean of Winchester, Tenn., and Miss Stacey Bean of the home; his mother, Mary Lena Bean of Winchester, Tenn.; one brother, Michael Bean of Orlando, Fla.; and three sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Putman of Estill Fork, Ala., Mrs. Susan Milligan of Scottsboro, Ala., and Mrs. Doris Amber Doebler of Richton Park, Ill.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Cecil Garrison officiating. Interment was in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Danny Whittemore, Richard D. Bean, Marvin Freeman, Jim Harris, Church Harris and Don Milligan.
