Mrs. Crawford was born in Madison County on September 3, 1927. She was a daughter of the late Zechariah Augusteas and Minnie Viola Hilley Long.
Mrs. Crawford had worked as a sewing machine operator and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Asberry Lee Crawford, a son, George Wayne "Buddy" Crawford, two brothers, George and Harry Long, a sister, Ruth Lee Coile, and a half-brother, Harrison Manley.
