Rachel Frances Long Crawford, 74, of Comer, formerly of Royston, died Wednesday, January 2, 2002, at Comer Health Care Center.
Mrs. Crawford was born in Madison County on September 3, 1927. She was a daughter of the late Zechariah Augusteas and Minnie Viola Hilley Long.
Mrs. Crawford had worked as a sewing machine operator and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Asberry Lee Crawford, a son, George Wayne "Buddy" Crawford, two brothers, George and Harry Long, a sister, Ruth Lee Coile, and a half-brother, Harrison Manley.
