Cynthia Edna Abbott, age 96, passed away February 23, 2010 in Ozark Nursing and Care Center. She was born October 12, 1913 in Sparta, the daughter of Marion Abbott and Grace Shipman Abbott Reed.

She lived in the Bruner and Sparta area throughout her life, and was a member of the Highlandville Church of Christ. Cynthia loved all children and enjoyed animals.

Survivors include: a brother, Charley Reed, Ozark; a sister, Irene Maggard and husband Jim, Sacramento, California; several nieces and nephews, including Janice House who helped so much with Cynthia's needs.

The Family would like to extend a special thank you to Ozark Nursing and Care for the loving care given to Cynthia the past fifteen years.

A graveside funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, September 26, at Sparta Cemetery, with Chuck Eakins officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
