Luke E. Beck, 72, died Monday, April 10 at 10:25 a.m. in Collingsworth General Hospital He had been a resident of Thomas Nursing Center several years and was a long-time resident of the county.
Mr. Beck was a retired farmer.
Mr. Beck was born June 20, 1905, in Jack County, the son of Thomas and Kitty Bond Beck. He was married to Miss Ruth Brown January 12, 1929 at Quitaque, and they had lived their entire married life in Collingsworth County.
They moved into Wellington in 1948. She preceded him in death January 25, 1973. Mr. Beck was a Baptist.
Survivors include Mrs. Claude Brown of Borger, who is presently in Hawaii, three nieces and three nephews.
