Miss Margaret Brundess, aged 64 years, 9 months and 9 days died at her home 6 miles north of Golden City, Nov. 19, 1930. She was born in Illinois, February 10, 1866. At the age of 16 she was married to John Wilhelm and later with her husband she came to Missouri and spent the remainder of her life. To this union was born eleven children. Three children with their father preceded her in death in 1928. She was married to Mr. Will Daniel of Greenfield. Besides her husband she leaves eight children: Harmon Wilhelm of Dewey, Okla., Mrs. Anna Clopton of Greenfield, Mrs. Edith McCulloch, Fritz, Crissie and Bennie Wilhelm of Golden City. Mrs. Winnie Jorden and Mrs. Clara Davis of Jasper. Two step daughters and one stepson and twenty-eight grandchildren mourn her loss. She was a believer in Christ and lived a Christian life until death. Her friends were numbered by those who knew her. Solomon said "He that would have friends must show himself friendly." Funeral services were conducted at New Bethel Church November 20. Burial was in Pippenger Cemetery. The services were conducted by Bro. L.A. DeGood of this city.
