Georgia Reeves Crow died peacefully in her sleep at Plantation Village Nursing Center in Altus, OK on Sunday, November 28, 2010 of natural causes. A family and friends visitation will be held 6:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, December 3, 2010 at Stewart Funeral Service in Hollis, OK. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church of Hollis, OK with Reverend Elbert Shumaker and Pastor Sally Barber officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis, OK.

Georgia was born on July 29, 1912 in Gould, OK to Herman H. and Edna Reeves. She lived her entire life in Harmon County, growing up in Gould and settling in Hollis after getting her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, a member of the local P.E.O. Chapter, and a very active participant in the community. She worked and served on the Board of Directors of the First State Bank in Gould (now Stockman's Bank).

She is survived by her son, John T. Crow of Winter Haven, FL; two granddaughters, Brenda Sanford of Colorado Springs, CO and Lisa Kath of La Mesa, CA; one grandson, John Emory Crow of Oceanside, CA; and three great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Sanford, Emily Kath, and Elijah Kath.

Mrs. Crow was preceded in her death by her husband, Emory S. Crow; her daughter, Ellen Diane Brazil; and her grandson, Michael Bradley Mach.
