CROSBY - David Leo Barhorst, age 60, of Crosby, died on April 8, 2007, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. He was born on Aug. 9, 1946, in Melrose to George and Mary (Weber) Barhorst.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle; two daughters, Deborah (Mike) Meyers, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Laura Barhorst, of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers, Murray (Elaine) Barhorst, of Crosby, and Marvin Barhorst, of Crystal; five grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Thomas and Michael Barhorst; a brother, Donald Barhorst.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby with military honors by the Myrin-James American Legion Post No. 443 of Ironton. Friends may call Saturday one hour prior to services.
