The last of the twelve children of Jasper Lee (Jap) Yarborough and Catherine Lucy Packwood, Rupert (as he was known) married Dixie Magee (1909-1955), a daughter of Charles James (Charley) Magee and Viola Pigott. The couple had one child, Judy Pat (1942-2009) before Dixie's untimely death. Rupert later married Mary Frances Dunaway (1921-2002); he was the second of her three husbands. A double headstone marks the graves of Rupert and Dixie.
