Craft Ghost, a school teacher, married Elizabeth Catherine Fritz in 1803. She was the daughter of Martin Luther Fritz and Catherine "Marie" Wilt who lived in Bedford Co., PA at the time.

Craft and Elizabeth had 8 children they named: John Barbara, Charlotte, Elizabeth "Betsy", Sarah, Susanna, Mary and Philip Ghost.

Children: John, b. 2 Mar 1804, m. Catharine SURRENA, b. 11 Jun 1806; Philip, b. 1808, m. Catharine PHIPPS McDOWELL, b. 19 Jun 1808; Barbara, m. William CARROLL; Sarah, b. 1816, m. Thomas GALLOWAY; Charlotte, m. William McCONNELL; Mary; Susana; Elizabeth 'Betsy', m. John COLEMAN.

Besides teaching school, Craft also was a miller in Clinton where he built his own mill and a County Commissioner for Venango Co., PA.

Christy's School was also bult on his property but it was torn down in 1888.
