Husband of Mary J Bryant Williams, She has a CSA widow's pension application on line, GA Archives Virtual Vault. She says she married W. L. Williams on 13 May 1869 in Decatur Co, GA and proof is included. He served in Campbell's Seige Artillery.

He died in Grady County on 29 Sept 1921. W. L. Williams' pension adds that he enlisted in July 1864, Macon, GA in the GA militia, but was transferred to Campbell's Seige Artillery regular army and fought with them until he surrendered April 1865 in S. Marks, FL.
