Albert S Goins 75, 2605 Huntsville R died at 7 PM Tuesday at ECM Hospital following an extended illness.
He was a native of Tuscumbia and had lived most of his life in Florence. He was a retired construction worker.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:30 PM from Morrison Elkins Chapel with Rev Barney Keith Officiating. Burial will follow in the Florence Cemetery.
Surviving are the widow Mrs. Florence Shannon Goins, 7 daughters Mrs. Gloria Burns, Mrs. Myrtle William, Florence, Mrs. Opal Reed, Vernon, Mrs. Mary Morrow, Leisure City Florida, Mrs. Ruth Yarbrough, Mrs. Polly Davis both of Nashville, Mrs. Dolly Edens, Dallas Texas, 4sons Dick, Jimmy, Bobby, and Junior Goins all of Nashville, 3 sisters
Mrs. Kate Gamble, Florence, Mrs. Emmy Johnson Tuscumbia, Mrs. Alice Hall, Miami Fl, 29 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Albert Gamble, Eli Thornton, James Phillips.
