SULLIVAN'S ISLAND, SC-R Dunlap Browne, 69, of Middle St, died Monday in Roper Hospital, Charleston.
Graveside services will be at 11am Wednesday at Mount of Olives Cemetery, Johnston.
Mr Browne was a native of Johnston. He was a retired merchant and a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Marian Thomas Browne, six daughters, Marian T Browne, Atlanta, Nancy Germain and Margaret Hunter Buchanan, Mount Pleasant, Betts Holmes, Johnston, and Nora Melfi-- and Molly Browne, Sullivan's Island; four sons, Lott Browne, Isle of Palmes, Dunlap Browne Jr, McClellan, John Webster Browne, Washington, and Leonard Thomas Browne, Charleston and a sister Nora Agnes Dunlap Browne Culp, Charleston.
The family will receive friends at the residence of Mrs Tommy "Betts" Holmes, Route 2, Trenton from 6 to 8pm today.
