Solemn high mass for Private First Class Charles J. Butera was sung this morning in St. Joseph's Church, Coraopolis.

Pvt. Butera was killed in action in the Battle of the Bulge, Dec. 14, 1944.

Keith-Holmes Post 402, V.F.W., will be in charge of the military funeral.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Butera Sr., of Coraopolis Heights; three brothers, Anthony Jr., Joseph J. and Samuel F., and four sisters, Mrs. Lena Petrone, Mrs. Mary E. Bondi, Mrs. Anna Muscati and Mrs. Rose Marie Castoricane.

Friends were received in the Sanvito Funeral Home, Coraopolis.
