Stanton N. Lott
JOHNSTON, SC-Stanton N. Lott died Wednesday morning in an Augusta hospital.
Funeral services will be held today at 4pm in the chapel of Clark-Bland Funeral Home, Johnston, with the Rev. Lon B. Knight officiating. Burial will be in Mount of Olives Cemetery.
He was a lifelong resident of Johnston, a retired school administrator, having served the Johnston Public Schools for 39 years. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Johnston Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jeanne Lott Cassels, Johnston; and one sister, Mrs. Hunter Browne, Johnston.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Connie Maxwell Children's Home, Greenwood, SC.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of services.

JOHNSTON-Stanton N. Lott died Wednesday in VA hospital in Augusta, GA, after a long illness.
Born in Johnston, he was a son of the late Pope Norris and Cora Smiley Lott. Mr. Lott was a retired school administrator, having served with the Johnston public schools for 3 9 years. He was a World War I veteran.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jeanne Lott Cassels of Johnston, a sister, Mrs. Hunter Browne of Johnston; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 4pm today in Clark-Bland Funeral Home, with burial in Mount of Olives Cemetery.
The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to the Connie Maxwell Children's Home in Greenwood.
