Funeral services for Barry Thomas Parks, 55, of Leesville, LA were held Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, Bro. Melton Mitchell officiated. Burial followed in the Leesville Cemetery in Leesville. Barry, the son of Joseph and Florence Weller Parks was born on April 23, 1954. He passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Woodlands Health Care Center in Leesville. Mr. Parks was a handy man and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife and children. He is survived by brother Joseph Parks of Bangor, PA and two special friends, Bessie Stephens of Leesville, LA and Merle Brack of Leesville, LA.
