Manlius T. Watson, 83, a
retired farmer and resident of
Boone County, died Friday at
Columbia Gardens Retirement
and Nursing Center, where he
had been a patient for two
weeks.
Mr. Watson, Route 5, was
born Nov. 19, 1890, in Boone
County to Robert and Laura
Ella Nichols Watson. He was
married to the late Myra Ann
Hartley.
Survivors include his foster-
daughter, Mrs. Elijah F. Grant,
2106 Garden Drive, and two
half-sisters, Mrs. R.C. Jack
Murray and Mrs. E. E. Gentry,
both of Route 5.
Services will be conducted at
2 p.m. Monday at the Parker's
Chapel by the Rev. Marvin R.
Pyron. Burial will be in
Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at Parker's
Chapel after noon today.
