Survivors include his wife, Lena M. Milstead; a daughter, Constance M. Bourne of Stafford County; a son, Carlton Milstead of Lancaster County; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Carlton Franklin Milstead of Stafford County died at Mary Washington Hospital on Friday evening, June 28, 2002. He was born in Prince William County, July 21, 1907. For over forty years until he retired, he was employed at the FMC plant. Mr. Milstead was a lifelong member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Milstead of Lakeland, Fla.; and four great-great-grandchildren, Alicia Miranda, Crystal N. Tuck, Stephanie Tuck and David Tuck, all of Moody, Texas.
