Floyd Adkins
Funeral services for Floyd Adkins, 74, who died Thursday after a lengthy illness, were at 10 a.m. Saturday in Green-Kleinegger Chapel with the Rev. Adrian DeLukie officiating. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery in Homer.
Survivors are two sons, W.A. Adkins of Odessa, Tex., and Lovis H. Adkins of Shreveport; a daughter, Mrs. H.M. Turner of Minden; two brothers, Arthur Adkins of Athens, and Eugene Adkins of Gibsland; two sisters, Mrs. Tiny Brown of Minden, and Mrs. John Harville of Cullen; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
