He worked in the rolling mill of the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 39 years until retiring. He was also a farmer in North Whitehall Township, 1949-79.
Born in Slatington, he was a son of the late Raymond and Lillie (Heiney) Beck.
He was a member and former council member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Slatington.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
