Andrew married Martha Ursula St. Germaine on March 21, 1925.
They were the parents of eight children: Abner Elroy, Howard Leslie, Maynard Jerald, Harold Seamor, Franklin Jay, Stanley Eldora, Marlys Elaine, and Verdi Lee.

Andrew E. Anderson, 83, Bagley, died April 30 at the Clearwater Memorial Hospital in Bagley.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Cease Funeral Home in Bagley with the Rev. Garry Briesacher officiating. Interment was made at the Concordia Lutheran Cemetery in rural Clearbrook.
Mr. Anderson was born September 16, 1898, in Eddy Township, Clearwater County, and was the son of Halvor and Emelia Anderson. He resided in the township for most of his life and last fall, he had been a resident of Haugens Rest Home near Bagley.
He is survived by four sons, Abner and Franklin of Bagley, Howard of Helena, Montana and Harold of Billings, Montana; three sisters, Mrs. Esther Wicks of Missoula, Montana, Mrs. Martha Sundbom of Clearbrook and Elna Mrs. Otto) Ramsrud of bagley; two brothers, Martin Anderson of McIntosh and Earl Anderson of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, a sister and three brothers.
