Mrs. Dorothy M. Seneff (nee Sweet) 63, of Venice, FL, died Thursday evening in Venice Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born here Oct. 16, 1916, Mrs. Seneff lived here until moving to Florida two years ago.

Surviving are her husband, Chet, a retired Elyria Fire Department lieutenant to whom she was married 44 years; daughters Mrs. Ralph (Patricia Mae) Yuhasz of Colorado Springs, CO, and Mrs. Jim (Beverly Gayle) Sudina of Elyria; and five grandchildren.

Preceding Mrs. Seneff in death were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd (Edith) Sweet, and a brother, Lloyd Sweet.


The family will receive friends Monday 7 - 9 p.m. at the Curtis-Scheuffler Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Virgil Freyermuth, of the First Baptist Church wehre Mrs. Seneff had been a member, will conduct services.

Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery.
