Dunnellon - HAROLD GORDON MINGO, age 85 of Dunnellon, Fl. passed into the presence of his Lord, Friday, February 19, 2010 at home following an extended illness. He was born April 27, 1924 in Miami, Florida. He served in and retired from the United States Air Force. Following his retirement from the Air Force he worked for Eastern Airlines based in Miami until his retirement from Eastern Airlines. Mr. Mingo is loved and survived by his wife, Angelia Mingo, and son George Harold "Hal" Mingo, sister Millicent "Doris" Sevtlik, sister Marjorie Locke and sister Patrecia Leach, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many friends. Mr. Mingo is preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Mingo Perkins. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM, Friday, February 26, 2010 at the St John The Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon, Fl. A brief viewing will held at the gravesite, Orange Hill Cemetery, Williston, Fl at 11:30 AM followed by a graveside service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
