Independence, MO — Viola Fern (Fran) (Gault Wisdom) Albanese, 88, of San Diego County, California, born October 5, 1921 in Independence, Mo., died January 11, 2010 after many years of decline from congestive heart failure and dementia.
She was the fourth of five children of Iva Blanche Thompson and James Gault of Independence, Mo. Fran overcame many challenges in her life to ensure that her children were loved and well cared for, as being their mother was clearly her life purpose. Thank you, Mom! We are so grateful for your laughter and all you did for us.
Fran was the beloved mother of Michael Wisdom, Anita Rackler, Laura Abernathy, Matthew Wisdom and Lisa Salazar. She was grandmother to Tony Michael Salazar, Nicholas Samuel Salazar and Milan Wisdom. Lastly, she was a loving mother-in-law to Tracie Wisdom, and an "Endora" style mother-in-law to her sons-in-law, Tony Salazar, Jim Abernathy and Howard Rackler, who all handled her extremely well!
