Mabelle Myers was born in Kansas, moved with her family as a young girl to Laclede County, MO, where she married Fred Clifton on April 22, 1908. She and Fred had ten children there. She and the children moved to Knox County, IL in 1927, where they lived with her brother. In May of 1930, they moved to Moline, IL where she remained for the rest of her life.
