John Brill, 79, who resided with his daughter, Mrs. Donald Lackas, 272 Forest St., Campbellsport, died Monday afternoon at Maple Manor Nursing Home.

He was born May 29, 1893, at Menomonee Falls, a son of Matt and Anna Brill. He married Mary Zweck on Sept. 29, 1919, at St. Martin's Church, Ashford.

Mr. Brill was a cabinet maker by trade. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Mathew's Church, Campbellsport, and was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Donald Lackas of Campbellsport and Mrs. Agnes Kattevold of Montevideo, Minn.; 20 grandchildren; a brother, William of Menomonee Falls; and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Rosbeck and Mrs. Mary Schraufnagel both of Mayville.

He was preceded in death by his wife on Dec. 30, 1958, a son, brother and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, and at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew's Church, Campbellsport. The Rev. Victor Kemmer will officiate and burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery at Ashford.

Friends and relatives may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
