Joann M. Catherman, 82, Duncansville, died Mon., Feb. 22 at home. She was born in Duncansville, to William M. & Olive M. (Burket) Treese. She married Robert D. Catherman Sept. 24, 1950, and he died Nov. 16, 2001. Surviving are two daughters: Denise at home and Lisa Stayer, Duncansville; and two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Ralph Stayer, May 10, 2009. She was a 1945 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and retired from the Hollidaysburg Area School District. Member of Hicks Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville. Joann enjoyed sewing, crocheting afghans & bedspreads and enjoyed bowling. Her granddaughters, Courtney & Raegan, were special to her. Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg. Interment, Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
