SERVICES AT ASHFORD ARE BEING PLANNED FOR ALOIS BECK
Alois F. Beck, 64, of Campbellsport, R. 1, died at St. Agnes Hospital Thursday afternoon as a result of an automobile accident. He was born Aug. 21, 1902, in the town of Byron, the son of John and Barbara Kiefer Beck. He married Erna Karstead on June 7, 1927 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Ashford.
Mr. Beck was a farmer and lifelong resident of the Town of Ashford where he served on the town board for eight years.
Survivors include his widow, three sons, Jerome of Campbellsport, Owen of Oakfield, R. 1 and Walter, Brandon; three daughters, Mrs. Ralph Stucke of West Bend, Gladys and Jeannette, both at home; 14 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Walter Koenig, Oakfield and Mrs. Alex Lenk, Menomonee falls. Three children and three brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Beck home after 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the home and at 10 a.m. at St. Martin’s Church in Ashford, Rev Linus Schmelzer will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Funeral services for Alois F. Beck were held Monday at 9:30 a.m. form the residence and at 10 a.m. from St. Martin’s Church, Ashford. Rev. Linus Schmeizer officiated at the Requiem mass. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Walter Koenig Jr., Leo Hall, Eugene Beck, Alex Bock, Alex Lenk, and Myron Reichwaldt.
