She was a daugher of the late P.P. and Jeanette Dovel Shiplett. She united with the United Brethren Church at an early age, and was active and a regular attendant as long as her health permitted.
Miss Shiplett was of a bright and cheerful dispositon, and had a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from East Point United Brethren Church, with her pastor, Rev. Floyd Fulk officiating.
The pallbearers will be: Dr. Philip Milton, Malcolm Harner, Phillip Harner, Clifford Jones, Roy Baugher and Claude Baugher, all nephews of the deceased.
Surviving are her three brothers and three sisters: W.R. Shiplett and LaCurgas Shiplett, of Elkton and Millard Shiplett of near Dayton; Mrs. J.M. Harner, Mrs. Alice Frazier and Mrs. Benjamin Milton.
