The relationship between Lenora Bell Penrod Markham and Hubert Raymond Markham is correct. Raymond was her son and the son of Jesse Markham. She was my grandmother.
Per my father, who was twelve when Lenora died, his father planted a tree at the head of her grave in lieu of a tombstone. If you stand at the row farthest away from the church, and look out, you can see one large tree in the distance. It is my belief that her grave would be close to that tree. If you look at the photograph of the cemetery, you can see this tree.
