Pleasant B. Stanley, 74, 1410 N. Fair, Olney, was dead on arrival at Richland Memorial Hospital Wednesday at 1:08 p.m.

Services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Eichenberger presiding. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. tonight. Burial will be in Haven Hill Memorial Garden.

Mr. Stanley was born April 15, 1909, in Clay County, the son of George and Nancy (Bryant) Stanley.

He married Carrie Graves July 28, 1927, in Noble, and she survives.

He was a Building Contractor, Real Estate Broker, and Insurance Broker. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Other survivors include a son, Jimmie, Olney; three daughters, Barbara Toliver, Mrs. Joe (Patsy) Totten, and Mrs. Frank D. (Judy) VonAlmen, all of Olney; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, a daughter, a grandchild, five brothers, and four sisters.
