Carrie E. Stanley, 94

Carrie E. Stanley, 94, of Olney, died at 3 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2001, at her residence.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Reverend Bobby Humphrey of Church of the Nazarene in Olney officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Stanley was born on March 6, 1907, in Smallwood Township in Jasper County, the daughter of Daniel and Nora Graves.

She married Pleasant Stanley on July 28, 1927, in rural Richland County. He preceded her in death.

She was a housewife and member of Church of Nazarene in Olney.

Mrs. Stanley is survived by three daughters, Barbara Toliver, of Olney, Patsy Totten and her husband, Joe, of Olney, and Judy Von Almen and her husband, Frank, of Olney; a daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Stanley; a son-in-law, Reverend James Lanning, of Bridgeport; a sister, Blanche Davidson and her husband, Wilford, or Arlington Heights; and 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Pleasant, two sons, one daughter, one brother, one sister and one grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Church of the Nazarene in Olney.
