Vern Dale Fiscus, 59, of Sumner, died at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 1993 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.
Visitation and funeral services will be at Sivert-Macey Funeral Home in Sumner. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.
Mr. Fiscus was born June 30, 1933, in Sumner, the son of Herman Dale and Iva (Lewis) Fiscus. He was married to Betty Litherland.
Mr. Fiscus was a cement mason. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and Sumner Masonic Lodge Shriner and 32 degree mason.
Mr. Fiscus is survived by his wife, Betty Fiscus of Sumner; three sons, Jeffery Atkins of Gretna, Calif., Mark Atkins of Carol Stream; and Kevin Atkins of Olney; three daughters, Teresa Medcalf of Orange, Calif., Cindy Atkins Anaheim, Calif., and Beth Holbrook of Miami Lakes, Fla.; one sister, Viola Varner of Olney; one brother, Charles Fiscus of Hessville, Ind.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
