Lenora Castilee White, 85, of Smithers died February 7, 2010, at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.
She was born April 21, 1924, in Raleigh County, WV, and was the daughter of the late Roy and Blanch Newman Lester.

She was a member of the Smithers First Church of Christ.

Surviving are her daughters, Linda VanMeter and her husband Robert of Cannelton and Brenda VanWart of Pratt; sisters, Daphnia Caudill of Louisburg, NC, Erma Brown and her husband Howard of Bradley and Joyce Terreo and her husband Toney of Napierville, Ill; grandchildren, Kathryn VanMeter and Billy VanWart and six great-grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday February 11, 2010, at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, with the Rev. Kim Kirby officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity. Friends may call from 7 until 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
