Ed. M. Hussong and Miss Minnie Coin were married in Colorado last week. Both these parties are well known in this place and our readers will be glad to hear of their union. Mr. Hussong is Principal of the schools of Franklin at present. The bride is a daughter of the late T.P. Coin.

LAST RITES FOR EDWARD HUSSONG
Edward Marston Hussong, a well-known Medford educator between 1920 and 1944, died at his home at 1017 North Riverside avenue April 21. He was 84.
Mr. Hussong was born in Ames, Ia., on December 10, 1864. He was married to Minnie M. Coin in 1893. They had nine children, seven of whom are still living. They are Alice Margaret Wolff, Ashland; Marston C. Hussong, Seaside, Calif.; Herbert O. Hussong; Edward Merle Hussong, Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Laura Georgiana Johnson, Mrs. Clara Frederica Glascock, and Frank T. Hussong, all of Medford.
He was graduated from the University of Nebraska in 18897, the University of Utah in 1907, and Nebraska State normal school in 1913, with two bachelor of arts, a bachelor of science, and master of arts degrees.
A member and active layman of the Presbyterian church, he also was affiliated with the Triangle, Alpha Chi Rho and Acacia societies. He was a Mason, and a member of the SAR. Between 1881 and 1884, he was employed as an engineer in bridge construction for a railroad. He was superintendent of schools at Franklin for several years and later county superintendent here. Between 1914 and 1920 he was an instructor in Astoria, Ore., schools teaching English and civics, and instruction. After going to medford, he was an instructor in biology in the high school until his sight began to fail in 1944.
Preceded in death by his wife, he is survived by 12 living grandchildren, and by a brother, H.L Hussong, Spokane, Wash., a sister, Mrs. Grace Berdine, Yelm, Wash., and a number of other relatives.
