RAY, Wilma S. 74, of Franklin passed away Saturday evening February 20, 2010 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton. A native of Jackson County, Ky she was the daughter of Cleadus and Louise (Cook) Spence. Wilma was a former teacher in the Franklin City Schools and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James and a niece, Jennifer Boggs. Wilma is survived by her husband of 51+ years, Lenwood, a son, Stephen, a brother, Dale (Jo Ann) Spence of Carlisle, a sister, Sylvia (Bert) Boggs of Springboro and a sister-in-law- Marty Spence of Lexington. She also leaves nieces and nephews, Cheryl Justice, Kim Spence, Jeff Boggs, Angie Gilbert and Brad Spence. She also will be missed by her many friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be Tuesday 1:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd. St. Franklin. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until time of service.
