Josephine Mary Freeman, 43, of Nokesville, Va., died Friday Dec. 24, 2004, at Fairfax Inova Hospital in Falls Church, Va. She was born Sept. 27, 1961, in Washington, D.C., to James Joseph and Josephine Muriel (nee Sprague) Kilgallon. Mrs. Freeman was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manassas, Va., and enjoyed decorating and gardening. She loved refinishing and rebuilding antique furniture and clocks. She was also a history buff of subjects including the Civil Way and European history. Mrs. Freeman was a good friend to many and was a great mother and wife.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday Dec. 30, 2004, at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine with the Rev. Leo McCarthy, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, officiating. Burial will follow in San Lorenzo Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 29 at Kotrady-Hudgins-Croyle Funeral Home, 209 S. Ponce de Leon Blvd.

She is survived by her parents, James Joseph and Josephine Muriel Kilgallon, Osprey; her husband, Mark Freeman, of Nokesville, Va.; two children, Gregory Lewis and Grace Elizabeth Freeman, both of Nokesville; one brother, Timothy "Tim" Kilgallon of Mercer Island, Washington; one sister, Therese "Terry" Palatella of La Jolla, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kotrady-Hudgins-Croyle Funeral Home, St. Augustine, is in charge of arrangements.
