Susan Irene Huffman Groves,90,of Flatwoods,Ky., died Feb.2,2010,in Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods.
She was born Aug.7,1919, in Greenup County,Ky.,a daughter of the late Robert L. and Matilda M. Springer Huffman.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Theodore L. Groves; four brothers, Robert H. Huffman, Jake Huffman, Charlie Huffman and Henry Huffman; and a sister, Mary Jane Huffman.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Woman's Club.
Surviving are a son, Ted (Donna) Groves of Oxford, Fla.; daughters Martha (Jarold) Hewlett of Russell, Ky., and Sarah (Gary) Shell of Englewood, Ohio; brother James E. Huffman of Franklin, Ohio; sisters Birdie L. Huffman of Ashland, Ky.,and Lois Downing of Flatwoods; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday,Feb.5 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods by the Rev. Jack Edwards.
Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
