BORGER - W.H. Gassaway, 83, Borger resident since 1926, died at 11:40 a.m. Sunday in North Plains Hospital. He lived at 115 N. Deahl.
Surviving are his wife, Essie; a son, Wilburn of Amarillo; two sisters, Mrs. Tom Holmes of Jasper and Mrs. L.B. Ewing of Commerce; two brothers, Charlie and Jess of Jasper, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m Tuesday in the Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. J. Weldon Butler, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
