Kathryn 'Kay' T. Abraham, 94, of Altoona died Thursday at Golden LivingCenter-Hillview. She was born in Bloomsburg, to Harry Wilson & Mariam A. (Cotter) Terwilliger. She was twice married, first to the late William Glenn Boland and then to Daniel R. Abraham, who died Feb. 5, 1999. She is survived by a niece, Phillis, and numerous gr. nieces & gr. nephews. Member of Evangelical Methodist Church. In her early years, she sang professionally in Miami, modeled and was in a John Wayne movie, "They Were Expendable." In 1948, she became a convert to Christianity and gave up her career. She became a missionary in New York City in a Jewish Community at Herman House. She was a 1932 graduate of Altoona High School as valedictorian of her class. She was a member of Camp Manahath & Manahath School of Theology. She was a lover of animals and was co-founder of the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society and sheltered many other animals in Sinking Valley. Good Funeral Home @ Alto-Reste Park.
